Every employee of a JAKIM Halal-certified company must attend Halal Awareness Training at least once every 3 years. Priority is given to staff in operations, production, procurement, and warehousing. Failure to comply risks non-conformance during JAKIM audits and potential suspension of your Halal certificate.

Must be attended by all Internal Halal Committee (IHC) members. Required every 3 years minimum.
This Halal Awareness Training provides participants with an introduction to the basic concepts of Halal & Tayyib and best practices to be implemented during food processing to maintain the integrity of Halal within an organisation. The certificate issued is also recognised by the Malaysia International Halal Academy (MIHA) — accepted not only in Malaysia but also internationally.
